So… sorry about all the Passion Pit posts, but hey, its good music… ha… But here I got a remake of Passion Pit’s song, Sleepyhead by the UK artist Ellie Goulding. Its got very nice female vocals that matches this song very well, and then a pretty chill, indie, elecrto beat put together by Starsmith. I am really enjoying this song right now and hope you feel the same way. Shouts to GDD

The White Panda strikes again with a nice club mash between Britney’s latest single ‘3′ and Kanye’s smash hit ‘Touch The Sky’. I’m really feeling this mash (the bridge with Lupes verse is realllll good) and the guys will love the verses by Kanye and girl will love the Britney beat and hooks. hope you enjoy it and sorry about my little absence over the weekend…

OnCue… Breathe Me
Posted in Folk, Mash-Up, Rap & Hip-Hop with tags OnCue, Sia on November 4, 2009 by haastradamus
Okay, I will admit, this sample really makes this song. One of the most moving songs, Breathe Me by Sia is samples by OnCue with his song of the same name off his upcomming album, In A Class All By Myself. Speeding up the piano, adding a baseline and turning Sia’s voice into a chipmunk (which I enjoy in some circumstances.. this begin one) this song is really one of my favorites. Both these songs can be on repeat for a while on my iTunes so I will provide both versions for ya guys. Hope you enjoy them both!
Sexy Bitch Pt. 2?
Posted in Electro, Pop, Techno, Trance with tags Akon, David Guetta, Madonna on November 3, 2009 by haastradamus
Soo a few days ago David Guetta released a remix to Madonna’s latest single, Celebration and adds Akon on it as well. Has a very nice techno beat, solid Akon hooks Madonna isn’t half bad on it as well. This remix is yet another great club song, which seems to be the case whenever Guetta and Akon get together like on Sexy Bitch so I’m sure it will blow up some time soon. Enjoy!
2AM Club… At 2Am…

So its 2Am an not getting any of this work tho, so why not share some music with ya eh? Heres a new group that I got a few weeks ago that I’ve really been enjoying called 2AM Club. They have a hip hop, electronic, and alternative band feel to them that makes thier music stand out against other bands which I really enjoy. Here is a three song sampler consisting of Flashing Room, Faster Babe, and Nobody’s In Love. Some of you might recognize Faster Babe from the The Elitaste CMJ Mixtape that came out a few weeks ago, but the other two songs are also very good, maybe better than that one. really hope you guys enjoy it!

The Swelly Express Arrives
Posted in Rap & Hip-Hop with tags Black Thought, Chiddy Bang, Passion Pit on October 29, 2009 by haastradamus
Like promised Chiddy Bang comes out with their first full mixtape titled the Swelly Express. I don’t think i can expaine it better so via PMA…
“The Swelly Express” is the true story of two college kids (Chidera Anamege and Xaphoon Jones) from Philly who rocked some parties at Drexel and quickly gained the attention of “the industry”. The music and lyrics were inspired by many boring trips on the Chinatown bus (they have wifi now!) on the way to meet “big wigs” in NYC. After a bunch of nice dinners and some free drinks for these 2 underage kids, Chiddy Bang decided to make a mixtape. PMA is proud to present this mixtape with OnSMASH and Crooks & Castles.
Well I hope you enjoy and be sure to pit up the mix I put together yesterday (Chiddy Bang EP) as well as this one.

On his latest single’s EP, Jason DeRulo releases an acoustic version to his hit single Whatcha Say. This version is driven by a nice piano instrumental and DeRulo provides more soulful vocals… really don’t know what song I like better… you decide… Enjoy!

Taken straight from iTunes…
On his much anticipated sophmore CD ‘One Foot Out The Door’, singer/ songwriter/ producer, Mike Posner has developed his signature sound into a movement that has gotten him signed to J Records, on stages opening for the likes of Akon and on the pages of The New York Times, The New York Post and XXL Magazine. And he’s still a senior at Duke University! On his latest effort Mike deftly crafts a rich soundscape of hard hitting instrumentals coupled with clever songwriting indicative of someone twice his age. While his first mixtape posited it was only ”A Matter of Time” until his buzz took off, on this offering, he makes it clear he has ”One Foot Out The Door” into the stratosphere. Featuring guest appearances from Kid Cudi, Bun B, Big Sean, GLC, 3Oh!3, Freddie Gibbs and XV, “One Foot Out The Door” is sure to top best of 2010 lists
Free From iTunes like always… or get the MP3’s if you would like…
One Foot Out The Door: iTunes
One Foor Out the Door: MP3
Quick Edit… The one song I have been waiting for the most, Please Don’t Go, is NOT on this (version of the) mixtape… lets hope it comes out on thurs… but heres a pretty good quality live version for you for now

New DeRulo
Posted in R&B, Rap & Hip-Hop with tags Jason Derulo, The Verve on October 27, 2009 by haastradamus
From the same guy (Jason DeRulo) that gave us his last hit single Whatcha Say by sampling Imogen Heap’s song Hide and Seek comes back with another solid sample to create another real good track. This time sampling Bittersweet Symphony by The Verve, DeRulo comes through with a very nice, feel-good song called Ridin’ Solo. Enjoy! Shouts to K.Schwartz!
Wale Mayer
Posted in Rap & Hip-Hop with tags John Mayer, Wale on October 27, 2009 by haastradamus
Using a sample from John Mayer’s song 3×5, Wale creates a very nice track called Letter. This track is a left over one from Wale’s upcoming album Attention: Deficit, maybe sample didn’t clear or something because it is a very good track that I’m sure would have been a huge hit on the album, but at least we still get to enjoy it… Shouts to TCO

Brand New Chiddy

From their upcomming album that will be out next week, The Swelly Express is a very nice track from Chiddy Bang. Like all Chiddy Bang it has a solid indie sample with a hip hop beat, this song, All Things Go, has a little more electric feel to it but is really good. hope you like it and be sure to keep a look out for their tape next week.
