From the same guy that gave you the Dave Matthews Band/Jay-Z mash-up comes another unique album.  Taking the beats from the Red Hot Chili Peppers and adding vocals from Eminem, DJ Moondance gives us ‘Shadium Arcadium’.  I think it is safe to say that vocals by Eminem is one of the most difficult to use when it comes to mash-ups, but Moondance really has hit the nail on the head with this one.  Each song is produced perfectly to fit the lyrics and even if you don’t like Em you cannot deny the production credits of these beats (which is all that Moondance is providing).  Check out his website for some other mash album by Moodndance and enjoy this album!

Randomly stumbled on this guy because his album covers for his singles look EXACTLY like David Guetta’s so I got excited and downloaded.  Funny thing is that Damien Fernandez really does sound like David Guetta (very weird coincidence, or maybe its planned?).  All three songs have a very nice techno/trance/electro beat and then Damien Fernandez sings very smooth R&B vocals over.  If you liked Guetta’s One Love album, you should really like these three songs, and I will be sure to give you any updates on who this guy actually is… Songs are in order of my Fav to least…

I didn’t want to post this song until there was a Mastered Version out, and here it is.  The new single off of Kevin Rudolf’s second album, featuring Lil Wayne, Birdman, and Jay Sean.  Once again, Birdman delivers the weakest verson on a song, but they, luckily we have three other artists to pick up the slack!  Now time for a day of homework!  have a ncie weekend guys!

New Cudi… but Dot Da Genius says it better…

“This must be the realest shit ever. We did this track like 3-4 yrs ago during the grind, trying to get shit moving. Just knowing what he was dealing with during this time period makes this record more than just a song. The sample used in the song was taken from Bob Dylan’s “Lay Lady Lay”. I noticed a bad quality version of it leaked so I figure might as well put out a better version.”

So after my semi-rant yesterday about drops/tags by Drama and other DJs on mixtapes B.o.B releases a CDQ version of F**k the Money (ft. Asher Roth).  Its real nice to hear just the beat for the first 30 seconds instead of just random noise and yelling eh?  Well done B.o.B and you are 1/16th of the way to a much better mixtape!

Yes, I know that this came out yesterday but I really wanted to give it a listen before I put it up.  Usually when i see DJ Drama’s name on a mixtape I don’t waste my time because I cannot stand the Tags, Shouts, and Drops every 36 seconds throughout the song, but then when I see B.o.B on the title, I download within a second, so thats what I did.  This album does have some real nice tracks such as Fool for Love (feat Charles Hamilton), Cool Side, Don’t Feel So Good, and Out of Time, and the very minimal amount of Drops really does make the take a lot better than I thought it would be.  Songs like Uno is my Numeral and Bet I (feat Playboy Tre) are songs that just annoy me with an increased amount of drops, but hey,  Its DRAAMMAA! so what do you expect.  Overall, real solid mixtape, and if you dont get the title, B.o.B Presents The Adventures of Bobby Ray drops May 25th.

I also wanna add if you don’t have it, B.o.B’s last album was probably my favorite mixtape of 2009, so ii you don’t have it… PLEASE DO!  B.o.B Vs Bobby Ray

For those who liked The Kayo-Mayer Experience, I got something that I know you will love.  This time yet another no-name rapper, M.i, takes an acoustic singer, Jack Johnson, and creates a very nice blend album.  This 12 track album has very good production on every track, leaving enough of the original Jack Johnson song to enjoy and adding the perfect amount of hip-hop to make it a whole new song.  Very chill, very well done, very good.  Enjoy!

Two solid remixes to two of my favorite songs by someone thats now to me that goes by Vodka & Milk (who knows, maybe its two people).  The first is a nice electro mix to Money to Blow by Drake and Lil Wayne (ya, they cut out the Birdman verse, but who’s sad about that?).  The second is more of a ‘remake’ of Matt and Kim’s single, Daylight.  The original beat is still there but a nice electro beat is laced over it.  Enjoy and shouts to Drew and MusicalPairings!

So as you can see by my last “post”, my bad for no music this weekend, but I’ve just been really busy so ill try and get you some good stuff today.  We will make my first post a leak off of the Alice in Wonderland pseudo ’soundtrack’ called ‘Almost Alice’.  From 3OH!3 is a very catchy song called Follow Me Down.  Its got rap, pop, and alternative aspects to the song and features Neon Hitch which kinda sounds like Gaga at times.  a very diverse song that for some reason I have been enjoying a lot lately so hope you do the same

As a bonus I will give you their latest collaboration with Lil Jon in a very electro song that could be a pretty good party song.
